Hello, Ladies & Gentlemen. Welcome to Muse World !
Muse is made in Nihon (= Japan in English, but the name of Nihon nation is Nihon, in my opinion), so the system (binary file, document file, and so on) contains Nihongo charactor code.
The garbled charactors may make you nurvous... right? I hope to be of help to you to get and use Muse with this guide.
Note: I (PT2K) am not the "Developer" of Muse (just a Muser -- Lover of Muse). And I'm weak at English. If you have complaint about this page, you can give ME your opinion. You MUST NOT give it to Mr. Kato or the "Developer" of Muse.
Muse is a free MML compiler and player on Microsoft Windows.
First, you make a text file.
A Simple Sample Muse Data File
---test.mus--- d r m f s ---end of test.mus---
Muse interprets (exactly compiles) it, and plays
on the Piano.
Muse is able to make a Standard MIDI File from a Muse Data.
You can get Muse package (executable, manual and samples) at MUSE WORLD (<- click here) in ATOMIC WORLD.
In the left menu frame,
"ダウンロード" (the 5th item) means "Download". Click "ダウンロード".
The right main frame

Run "muse.exe".
Drug a Muse data file (.mus) from Explorer and drop it to Muse. Muse automatically begins to play the data.
Mmm...
It's too difficult; not to use Muse but to explain how to use all of Muse (in English).
I wish somebody's help... sorry !
